Well I made this little “heart attack in a crock pot” today and I still haven’t found a Mac and Cheese I like.

It was bland beyond bland and it most certainly didn’t take the 3 hours in my crockpot that it called for. I turned it off at 2.5 hours and it could have been turned off at 2 imo.

So. With the leftovers I added some fresh, halved, cherry tomatoes and some basil leaves. I’m going to freeze it for another day. When I take it back out, I’m going to add some caramelized onions and garlic, some crushed chilis, and pop it into the oven.

We’ll see.
